Lovely rose garden, and the accommodation sits on a quiet street. The owner has traveled extensively and practices alternative medicine, so she’s open to having a nice chat with guests.

The old house has a lot of charm, and the room was comfortable. That mattress was incredibly comfortable too, we slept really well. Gabriel and his mother were welcoming, attentive, and friendly from the start, and breakfast was delicious. For our first hostel stay, it was quite good for the price. The garden outside did look neglected compared with the promotional photos, which took away a little from the charm, though it didn’t spoil the experience. Still a good, inexpensive option if that gets addressed.

A woman created this distinctive hostel, with pyramid-shaped rooms and a lively atmosphere. It’s set up for families or individuals looking for a themed getaway, with relaxation therapies and lovely gardens in a natural setting. Many people already consider it magical, and I invite others to discover it too.

The indoor forest gives the place a lovely atmosphere. I do wish they’d let guests eat in their rooms. Rules like that just end up frustrating people.

I spent four months at Hostal Vida 2000 while working in Santa Cruz, and Angélica Espinoza, the owner, looked after things wonderfully. She runs the business day to day and attends to all the details so guests can feel at home and comfortable. The hostel is peaceful, comfortable, and has plenty of green space. I had a very pleasant stay and highly recommend it.
