Hotel Boutique Raíces de Colchagua

The way the booking was handled was awful. After we had reserved well in advance, the woman in charge called at noon on arrival day and said a gas problem meant we couldn't stay that night. I offered to go without a shower, but she said staying there wasn't possible. I later learned they were overbooked for Friday and had made up the gas issue, which is a terrible way to treat people. They moved us to a mediocre cabin in the city centre, exactly where we hadn't wanted to stay. We did get to the hotel the following day, but the discount they had promised never came through. When I challenged the woman about the lie, she kept denying it and didn't apologize. She was unbelievably rude. A really cruel experience for guests.

A small, peaceful hotel with a friendly team, and the price was affordable. Really nice place, I'd recommend it.

There was plenty of convenient parking, and both the TV and Wi-Fi worked perfectly. The rooms were clean, roomy and comfortable, while the green spaces were lovely and well kept. The pool and barbecue area were fantastic, and service throughout the hotel was excellent.

It has a real homey feel, and the owner and the young staff were all so friendly. The breakfast and the room and outdoor areas were spotless. A magical place in a great location, I'd recommend it a thousand times.
