Agustina Suite

The room was clean and tidied every day, and the gas shower had hot water. The room itself was comfortable, but several things needed attention: the toaster, heater, and TV remote didn’t work. I asked for replacements; the toaster was fixed, but the heater still had problems even after it was changed. One day we left our room card inside. I left a message at the desk asking for a new one and called Agustina Suite during the day to explain. When we got back from our outing at 8 p.m., nothing had been left for us. They tried to reach the person in charge until 10 p.m. without success. Luckily, there was a card for another room, and the doorman took pity on us and let us in. Otherwise, we’d still be out on the street. The man representing Agustina Suite wasn’t very polite, though the housekeeper was friendly and helpful.

The place has the things you’d need for a nice stay, but it wasn’t being looked after. It was very dirty and neglected, with a broken shower head, half the lights out, and a poorly equipped kitchen. When we paid in cash, they charged us 25 pesos more than any currency exchange office.

It was quiet, and the room was good, with all the utensils working. The bathroom was fine too. The building has three busy blocks, but there’s a front desk and it seemed quite secure. I had no problems. The only thing was that nobody cleaned the room.

My family and I have stayed twice, and both visits were wonderful. The location is the best part, and there’s 24-hour security. The rooms have everything you might need, including a well-equipped kitchen. There’s also a very nice parking garage, just ask the reception staff on the ground floor about it. I was lucky to visit in summer, when the pool was fabulous, with a beautiful view of Santiago.
