Plaza Suites Apartments

I've stayed here for five months so far and plan to stay longer. It works pretty well for a long stay, especially if you know Spanish and can discuss things in person with Reception Administration. They suggested using WhatsApp at check-in, but reception is so busy they often don't have time to reply. The location is nice, the apartments are fully equipped, and the receptionists and maids are pleasant. Internet can be an issue sometimes, electricity rarely, and water almost never. There's laundry, room service twice a week, cable TV, internet, gas, and a microwave oven. Towels and sheets are included, but you have to buy your own soap and shampoo. Supermarket Lider is literally 3 meters from the La Merced entrance. A few very good restaurants are a minute's walk away, and by the other entrance on Huerfanos street, there's a pharmacy and a sex shop just 3 meters away. x) P.S. Really recommend contacting them directly to confirm your arrival time, especially if you're checking in early in the morning or late in the evening or at night.

The only good thing was the location. This was a dated place with basic cleanliness, no toiletries or other services, and communication was difficult. There was no transfer or shuttle, and I had to make an effort just to get clean linen. The room didn't match the information I was given, and we left a day early. Without the driver my friend found for us, we would never have found reception. Email replies were very basic, and I got worried when my calls went unanswered. This is just my opinion, based on the view from my room, and I'd say the same about all the rooms. I had to leave a star to post this. Bull crap.

The service is awful. The TV and cable cut in and out, reception is tucked away and hard to find, and nobody speaks English. They seem like the least committed people. I heard of people getting into rooms in the middle of the night using a duplicate key or door password.
