For what I paid, I expected a lot more. This was one of the most expensive places I stayed on my South America trip through Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, and Chile, and several problems I reported on the first day were still there when I left. It felt like management paid little attention to upkeep or detail, and there are better options around for the price. There were some good points: the location, friendly staff, decent breakfast, and a comfortable mattress. But this is more like a small pension with only a few rooms than a hotel, so I found the description misleading. The room was about 10m², as I knew beforehand, but it was poorly organized and not clean: hair and black spots on towels, cobwebs on the ceiling, a dirty bathroom door, and a shower that wasn’t properly clean. The towels were still dirty on later days. Sound carries everywhere, even from reception, so bring earplugs or you’ll have trouble sleeping. The bathroom is so tiny two people can’t fit, and there’s no shower gel. If you need to work, there’s no desk or chair unless you ask. I had to request them for job meetings.

Small, simple rooms, but just right for a night. The included breakfast was good, and they left complimentary Chilean red wine for us to have on the terrace. The staff were lovely too. It’s in a quiet neighborhood, just up the street from Bellavista bars and restaurants, and an easy walk to the Santiago CBD. xx from two Aussie's

The beds were super comfortable, with several pillows to choose from, and the rooms were lovely. Breakfast was freshly made each morning, with fresh fruit and a savory dish to pick from. We felt at home right away after the complimentary welcome drink. The staff were lovely, and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Bellavista is a great location, and the staff were friendly. The hotel was clean and cozy. Our room included breakfast, which had more than I expected: yogurt and granola, juice and coffee, plus a choice of five or six egg or pancake dishes.

With only about 12 rooms, it felt quiet, and the security measures were good. The neighborhood also felt safe to walk around. Staff were excellent, hardworking, and friendly. The patios were clean and had a modern design, breakfast had great complimentary options, and guests got a glass of wine too. It’s close to one of Pablo Neruda’s houses and an easy walk to restaurants and clubs. The rooms are very small, and there wasn’t enough space to set things down, like on a table. The beds were fine and the shower had good pressure.
