I booked after reading the reviews, and CasaSur lived up to them. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, like old friends, and the bright common areas and rooms were spotless. Breakfast was great, even though I'm not usually much of a breakfast person. It's served individually and efficiently, with the same friendly feeling as being at someone's home. They were always smiling and seemed happy to be there. They also helped with information and tours. I arrived late, but they still confirmed a Casablanca tour for the next morning. The hotel is small and cozy, with rooms arranged around a central staircase. It feels like it used to be a home. You can hear a bit of activity when breakfast starts, but it wasn't too bad, and felt like hearing a friend in the kitchen. The street is very quiet, about three blocks from the main road in the Italia neighborhood, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and boutique shops. Badalu has a great shabby chic feel, good service, live music, and an upstairs spot where a nice breeze comes through. Bellavista has more sights within an easy walk, but it's louder and more chaotic. I'd definitely stay here again on a return to Santiago. Thanks, CasaSur!

There isn't a TV in the room, but the beds are super comfortable, the showers work well, and the place is very clean. Water is free, and breakfast is made to order with homemade organic products. They adjust the music to the time of day, and there's a smile waiting for you every time. CasaSur has lots of thoughtful touches that you notice as you stay. Eduardo and Catalina, the owners, are passionate about what they've built and really care about their guests' experience. We'll definitely return.

We had a great stay. The team were so welcoming and friendly, the breakfast filled us up, and the beds were very comfortable. There's also a great choice of nearby bars and restaurants with fantastic food. Simply wonderful.

It felt special from the start. We stayed here for our honeymoon and loved the whole experience. The hosts were friendly and always ready to make our stay better. Breakfast was awesome fuel for walking around town, and the room was comfortable with everything we needed to rest well.

We spent a few nights here on our honeymoon. The staff made us feel welcome, the room was nice, and breakfast was more than we could ask for. It's in a good location and definitely worth choosing if you're passing through Santiago.
