Chalet Providencia Costanera

This is more of a hostel-style chalet, with private rooms and bathrooms. Its location is excellent. There’s a patio and pool, but no other shared space, such as a breakfast corner or a dining area with tables and chairs. I wouldn’t choose it in winter or cold weather. The heating isn’t very good: rooms have electric panels that don’t put out much heat, or electric blankets. Cleanliness could be better too, and the black sheets gave a very bad impression. If you just need a bed for the night in a good location, I’d recommend it. For more amenities, it’s not the right place.

It was freezing, around 0°C, and they only gave us two blankets. There were no extra blankets or bedspreads, and the ones we got had lots of hair on them. When we checked out, we realized the sheets hadn’t been changed either. There was hair of different colors all over them, which was awful. The room’s heated electric heater and panel were the only things that helped, but they weren’t enough against the cold. It was an inexpensive stay, and the owners were friendly, the service was good, and the location was great, very close to Costanera Center. Still, it was a really bad experience.

The reception staff were friendly and attentive, and helped me throughout my stay. My room was very nice, with a Smart TV and fast Wi-Fi, and the beds, sheets, and pillows were new. Excellent service.

It’s a big house with rooms, seven on the first floor, if I remember right. Costanera Center is about a 10-minute walk away, and the location is very good. The place was quite clean, the receptionists were friendly, and the internet worked really well. Breakfast isn’t included. It’s a good option if you need somewhere to stay while traveling for errands online.
