Guest House Santiago

A comfortable place, close enough to walk to everything you need to see, including the city center and cerro san cristobal.

We stayed for 10 days and really enjoyed it. The place was very clean, quiet, and cozy, with comfortable bedding and breakfast set out every morning from 7:30. The location made it easy to explore on foot, including a pleasant walk to the center and nearby sights. Santa Ana metro station is just a few meters away, as are Supermercado Tottus and Av Brasil, with its restaurants and bars. You can also walk to Plaza de Armas, Market Central, and Agostinas street, where there are several good currency exchange places. One small thing: neither our room nor the reception lounge had a TV, and I assume the other rooms don't either.

There are only five rooms here, which gives the place a lovely, charming feel. Our balcony room was roomy and nicely decorated. The bathroom and toilet were divided by a half-height wall, though, so there wasn't much privacy.

They told me the price and which rooms were free before I booked, then quickly helped me get in touch with the owner to reserve one. The room was in really good shape. The person helping me was friendly and useful, showed me around the room, and supplied towels and other amenities. Great service, no complaints.
