I stayed here while taking Spanish classes at Acela School, which is almost next door. The owner keeps the hostel in good shape and really goes out of his way to make sure you have a good stay. The staff are friendly, and it's clean, quiet and well located. Breakfast and the price were the downsides.

The showers and facilities were clean, and both the owner and staff were very friendly. It's a small place with a relaxed, easygoing atmosphere. The thick blankets seemed a bit unclean, so I'd avoid using those.

The people who hosted us in Santiago made us feel almost at home, and we were so grateful for their warm welcome and the comfort they gave us. It was only a few days, but we couldn't have picked a better place. Hostel UNIÓN really lives up to its name and sense of togetherness. 100% recommended. Big hugs to everyone, and thanks so much. See you next time! 💖🤗

We slept peacefully here because people respected the quiet hours. The shared rooms and bathrooms are cozy, and there's a good breakfast in the spacious, comfortable main dining room. A comfortable place to spend the night.

A simple, clean hostel at fairly affordable prices. The staff are friendly, and the location in Providencia is excellent, close to Salvador metro station. It seems well suited to larger groups of family or friends.
