Hotel Almasur Providencia

The hotel is good and reasonably priced. Just be aware they didn’t reply to either of my two emails asking for an itemized receipt for reimbursement. They even said I had to make that request before the stay, which makes no sense to me.

The location made getting to restaurants and activities easy, and the hotel has parking and felt very safe. Everyone, from reception to housekeeping, was welcoming and attentive. I stayed for a week and loved it. The room was spacious, clean, and beautiful, and the bathroom was large. The shower had great pressure and stayed at a perfect temperature. Breakfast had loads of choices, and the sautéed vegetables were especially good. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.

The common areas are really spacious, and there’s a water dispenser too. Our rooms were beautiful and very clean, and breakfast was delicious. The staff were quick, friendly, and provided everything we needed. They exceeded our expectations.

The bed was comfortable and the rooms are nice, but the apartments are short on basic gear. There was only one sharp knife, and no tea towels, iron, bottle opener, or wine glasses. It feels like they’ve provided the bare minimum. It doesn’t really operate like a hotel since there’s no room service. Need something? You have to go get it yourself, they won’t bring it. Such a shame. It could be fantastic, but the penny-pinching left me disappointed.
