The breakfast was a lovely start to the day, and we especially liked being near the park, Bella Vista patio, and plenty of good places to eat. Galindo’s and El Meson Nerudiano were favorites. We spent two nights here, December 10-12, during a trip around Chile, and this was easily the best of the four hotels we tried. Our room, number 13, was elegant and cozy, with the best bed and bedding of our trip. It was up a few flights of stairs, and there’s no elevator. The wine area on level 2 was a nice bonus. Veronica, Andy, and another front desk man whose name I can’t remember were bilingual and went out of their way to help with reservations and advice. They made the stay feel special. We’re planning to come back. Thanks!

The daily wine hour had a friendly, social feel. While I was there, the guests reminded me of a New England book club reunion. The hotel itself is charming and comfortable, in a great spot, and the included breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable too, and the thick walls and shades made for a good night's sleep.

We missed breakfast because we had to leave very early, but the staff kindly put together a bag for us to take along. They were friendly, super helpful, and clearly focused on good service. After a day of travel, the inner patio was a nice place to unwind. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel sits in a colorful neighborhood with lots of places to eat, near the base of Cerro San Cristobal, which is a must-visit in Santiago. Charming place, and a perfect stay for us.

The staff were professional and made us feel safe and welcome. I think this hotel is one of Chile’s best, and it’s a big part of why I like Santiago so much. The decor is stylish, and the rooms feel modern and carefully put together. Highly recommended.
