The host Rodrigo was welcoming and helpful, spoke English well, and offered tea and coffee whenever we wanted, plus wine. I don't know if that was normally included, but it felt like being welcomed into someone's home. It's a lovely old house with a cozy, antique feel. At least one room has a simple kitchen with a microwave and teapot, though I think the other rooms don't. The wood creaks a lot, so upstairs can be noisy, but we didn't have a noise problem.

The location is excellent. You can walk through lovely parks to plenty of restaurants, boutique shops, and even the malls. Tours to major sites can be arranged at the front desk. The host was caring, and breakfast felt very personal. I also loved the soft, melodic lounge jazz playing through the day. Great place.

Rodrigo, the owner, made our time in Santiago a pleasure. He was friendly and very accommodating, spoke English, and let us check out late. That helped a lot since we speak very little Spanish.

The breakfast was the only good part. There was nobody around to receive guests, and I had to welcome someone myself because NO ONE was there. People also walked loudly through the hallways late at night.

Cute place, with great staff, good WiFi, and an OK breakfast. The old building has creaky floorboards, and nearby pubs made it a little noisy at night.
