Breakfast was a sandwich, a local biscuit, and juice, which was a nice change from the usual eggs. The kitchen has everything you need for basic meals. It's a great neighborhood, with a supermarket around the corner, and the rooms are quiet. If you're a light sleeper, ask for a downstairs room.

It's clean and quiet, with a little kitchen, but there isn't really anywhere to meet people or socialize. Despite the name "trotamundos", the hostel is full of people who pay monthly and work there.

My boyfriend and I stayed for one day, but the dirt was so disgusting we couldn't take it any longer. We couldn't even shower. The place is run down and dirty, and the service is terrible. Honestly, I don't get why the hostel has good reviews. I've attached photos so you can see I'm not exaggerating. There are more photos I left out out of respect for other guests, including pubic hair on the bed and pillow, feces stains on the wall, and grease dripping from the ceiling. Please DO NOT GO!

Breakfast had plenty of variety, and everything felt clean and hygienic. The reception was welcoming, and the service felt personal. Great value for the price, I’d definitely recommend it.

The location worked well for me, but the room only got light and air through a single skylight, and there aren’t enough shared areas. I also couldn’t get a hot shower.
