The restaurant was very good, 9/10, though on a couple of occasions all the staff seemed to be away and took a while to come back. It wasn't a major issue. The rooms were clean and good, the WiFi reliable, and the beds okay. The lobby experience was terrible, 0/10. There were two people at the desk, but a large group that arrived just before us took up both of them while other guests waited to check in or out. We stood in line for 26 minutes to check in, and the host then helped someone who had arrived after us. To make matters worse, the hotel had run out of room keys. I was told to install an app I'd never heard of to unlock my room, and had to hope my phone didn't run out of battery. I couldn't leave it charging while going to the restaurant or I'd be locked out. Then my coworker, who checked in three minutes after me, got a key. The person behind the counter had said there weren't any left, so that didn't add up. I've lowered my service rating since my last trip.

The place was amazing, and everyone was friendly. Ines, Camilla, and Ruth were especially welcoming and hospitable, and gave me great information about the hotel and the area. Camilla made the best Mojito I've ever had. I also want to mention Mike the Garçon, who served me on my last night and suggested a wonderful local wine.

Our flight was delayed and landed after midnight, and the hotel cancelled our reservation. When we arrived, we felt we were treated horribly because of our nationalities. The staff were rude and inconsiderate, and lied to our faces. They had two other no-shows that night but wouldn't help us at all, and sent us out onto the street like dogs. Fellow travelers, don't even consider staying here!

A very good hotel, with spacious, attractive rooms and a large shower. Breakfast had a huge selection, and parking was free. There's a big mall close to the hotel.
