The staff were especially kind and attentive, and having parking was a real plus. The rooms were clean and tidy, though a little cramped. They face a hallway instead of having windows onto the street, so there's no daylight and they have a slightly musty smell. Noise from the entrance and hallway carries in, which makes it hard to rest. Breakfast was adequate, if limited in variety. Fine for a night, but not a restful stay.

The room was a little old-fashioned, but it had everything we needed, and the TV picture was the best we'd seen on our Chile trip so far. A very kind woman checked us in, and we spent two good nights on the first floor, right in the middle of Taltal.

There was a bad smell, and no outside-facing windows or ventilation.

Good value for the price, though breakfast was sparse and disappointing.

In the morning, I found a dent in my car, which had been parked in front of the property. The breakfast was just a sandwich with a small slice of cooked ham and a little coffee. I had also booked a special rate through Booking.com, but they charged the standard rate and only refunded the difference in cash after an unpleasant discussion. A terrible experience, and I strongly advise against staying here.
