Diego De Almagro Valdivia Hotel

The location worked well, with everything fairly close, and the rooms were nice. My air conditioner was so noisy I had to turn it off. The minibar was warm, but they replaced it within five minutes. Breakfast was good once available, though it was supposed to start at 6:30am and never did. I had to wait every morning for food or a drink, and the omelette, which was also offered, only became available later. The garage was good, just a bit small.

Breakfast was chaotic, and the dining room was too small for everyone. We ended up carrying our breakfast to another dining area. We also had no hot water on two of our three nights, and the room's wifi was so weak and slow that we had to stand by the door to get one bar. The receptionist, Germán L., didn't help or acknowledge our complaints. This felt overrated and nothing like what I'd expect from a four-star hotel. I wouldn't recommend it.

The included breakfast was really nice, and we liked the hotel and its restaurant and bar. The pool closed too early for us, at 10 PM, so we couldn't use it.

The rooms were awful, old, and dirty, with super uncomfortable beds. For the price, the quality just isn't there. They advertised a gym, but all I saw was one elliptical machine tucked in a corner by the restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it unless your budget is tied.
