The rooms are cute and the staff were friendly, but the noise made it hard to sleep. You hear people walking and talking upstairs, with the wooden floorboards creaking as they move. The road right outside is just as bad, and passing cars are loud enough to feel like you're sleeping on the street. Cleanliness was also a problem, since the rooms seemed only superficially cleaned. I'd put this at 2-3 stars and wouldn't recommend it.

We stopped for lunch. The restaurant was good, if a bit pricey, and it was quiet with lovely views.

The rooftop terrace was a highlight, with lovely sunset views and a great spot for breakfast. Nicholas and Rodrigo were incredibly kind and helpful, and the hotel is well placed in the historic area. The road can be a little noisy, but the views and good price made it worthwhile.

We had a superb three-night visit, with attentive, excellent service from Italo, Nicolas, and Natalie. The guesthouse is well maintained and has a distinctive feel in Valpo. Breakfast each morning on the rooftop terrace was excellent, with eggs, ham, cheese, fruit, cereal, coffee, juice, and yogurt. Great value in this Unesco gem of a city.

The staff were the best part, so friendly and lovely. We met several of them and liked them all, and especially enjoyed chatting with Natalie at breakfast. The rooms are spacious for a historic district, and the location in Valparaiso is excellent, with plenty of nice cafes, restaurants, and street art nearby. Highly recommend.
