The central location was really good, no complaints there. But the rooms were quite dirty. My duvet definitely hadn't been washed, and our pillows weren't really pillows. There weren't enough bathrooms, and one felt like a school cubicle, with very little privacy. The staff were friendly, but not very helpful.

+ Helpful, good staff, a nice breakfast, and a good common area. Fine for a short stay. - The bed seemed close to breaking. The washroom wasn't very clean, the hot water was inconsistent, and the kitchen was dirty.

The hostel has a lovely, warm atmosphere. Felipe welcomed us and let us try his ceviche, which was fantastic. I'm not sure, but this might be the best place to stay in Valparaiso.

It's a nice hotel, the staff are really kind, and it's not expensive.
