The bay views were incredible, especially at sunrise, and the garden is laid out beautifully. Breakfast was very good as well. The house combines its historic character with modern exterior additions, and the design, colors, style, and furniture impressed me. I’ve built many houses, so I appreciated that mix. Inés Campino organized the design and furnishings superbly. Carolina has brought the whole team together, including Nico, Pia, and Tanya. They’re an interesting, informative, genuinely happy group, with good English. The welcome felt like true friendship, with no pretense. I spent decades in business in Britain having thousands of face-to-face meetings, so I know what that takes. My friend of 24 years booked Hotel Azul for me while flying in from Ecuador on the way back to Australia. Tina grew up in England, worked at my company, and now has a huge turnover in her own work in Sydney, Australia. It turned out to be a brilliant booking. I live in Chile now and will return. I’ve traveled the world and seen all kinds of accommodation, and this is by far the best place for a holiday in Valparaiso.

The host was so friendly, and the rooms were clean and really comfortable, with lovely views. There’s also the friendliest little cat living here. It’s beautifully placed on the hill overlooking Valparaiso.

Pia and Carolina were amazing hosts and made us feel at home. We loved the breathtaking view, the thoughtfully designed house, our beautiful room, comfy bed, and shower, along with the garden, terrace, and breakfast. The location was wonderful too. A real paradise in Valparaíso, and we couldn’t have been happier with our stay. We’ll definitely come back and recommend Hotel Faro Azul to all our friends.

We spent two nights here, from 17 to 19 November. From the house on top of the hill, the bay view is amazing. Along with the great rooms, there’s a big garden with lots of comfortable places to sit. The host was welcoming and gave us excellent tips for exploring the city. We highly recommend it and hope to return someday.

The garden has so many spots to sit back and relax, and the view is incredible. It felt like an oasis in the city. Carolina was the best and made us feel at home. Muchas gracias!
