We had an incredible stay. I came with my two children and my mother, and the apartments were spacious and comfortable, with well-equipped kitchens for cooking. The lake view is wonderful. There are two docks for getting onto the lake, which is a delight if you enjoy water sports. Each apartment has an enclosed balcony where you can store wet boards, wetsuits, and other things. There's also a huge terrace with tables, great for eating something and watching the sunset, as well as a huge event hall. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Don Enrique even teaches you about cacti. The location worked perfectly for us, with Vichuquén town 20 minutes away and the shops in Llico just 5 minutes away. It's quiet and very private. I recommend Andrea's pastries at Mane's, the homemade bread, and the fresh fish from Don Mario at the fish market almost at the entrance to Llico. He goes fishing almost every day and is a pro. In the first few days of each month, around payday, there are craft stalls in the Llico plaza. Across from the plaza in Vichuqen town, there's a stall selling white clay pottery, though the color is more like clay. The middle stall belongs to three sisters and is the best. The woman who runs it is lovely.

The lake is wonderful, and the photos are from the area called Punta de Barco (Ship Point). Sadly, residents have closed off almost the entire shoreline, so there are few places to access the lake. A road leads to the area with the most access.

Fantastic, and it makes you want to relax. Totally recommended any time of year!
