Cabaña Ruca Quimey

We arrived very late because we were short on time, so we didn't get to see the cabin we thought we'd booked. What we were given was a shared space, with a tiny bedroom and a very small kitchenette beside an equally small bathroom. The sheets were worn, though at least they smelled clean, and the gentleman who checked us in in the early morning was kind. There was noise from several directions. A bird nest on the roof kept us awake, and being beside a school gym meant shouting early in the morning. We also had to get rid of lots of moths. Since the cabin wasn't the one in the photos and the stay had so many problems, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Everything you need is in the cabin, including a kitchen, private bathroom, Wi-Fi, and grill, and you can buy local crafts there too. It's also a peaceful, cozy place to unwind, with the city center and lakefront just a 5-10 minute walk away.

We never got the towels that were supposed to be available for rent. The shower also had no hot water, and when we contacted the host, there was no reply or fix. Communication was poor.

Bruno the dog is adorable 😂☺️. The owners are so friendly, and everything is close by. It's a cozy place just a two-minute walk from downtown and the restaurants. We'll come back.
