Cabañas Lomas de Ensenada

A nice, accessible place with a good view. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was hot water.

The cabins are luxurious, with a spectacular view and amenities like pots, kettles, glasses, cups, and a washing machine. The caretakers were attentive, and they gave us two sacks of firewood for our two-night stay. The road in is dirt and very bumpy.

It’s pet-friendly, which was the best part for us 🐶❣️. The cabins are cozy, with lake views, good service, and the basics you need. One sack of firewood is included, and extra costs 5,000 pesos. You’ll need a vehicle, as the way up is a bit steep, though it’s easy to get there. There’s a gas station and supermarket nearby. In winter, I’d bring a blanket, since what’s provided might not be enough if you get cold.

The caretakers were welcoming and attentive, and we appreciated the owners checking that we arrived safely. The cabins are very nice and well equipped, though getting there by car is recommended. They allow pets, which is the best part. We definitely hope to return. Keep up the good work, highly recommended!
