The rooms are comfortable, the staff are lovely, the atmosphere is delightful, and the food was excellent at both breakfast and dinner. Still, noise carries from other rooms and reception because the rooms aren’t well soundproofed, and we were woken on two of our three nights. The hotel is in a good location at the top of a hill, but reaching the beach takes a 15-minute walk and the climb back is no small effort. On the first night there was no chef, and finding another restaurant in town on a winter Tuesday wasn’t easy. Dinner at the hotel the next evening was fabulous, with two starters, two mains, and three desserts to choose from. We wanted to eat there again on night three, but the menu was exactly the same and had even fewer dessert choices, so we went into the village instead. We liked the place, though the noise may send us somewhere else next time.

Our twin room was huge, and the hotel was wonderfully peaceful. The terrace and pool area made a lovely place to sit at night and watch the stars. Staff were incredibly helpful, even going out of their way to mail clothes I’d left behind to my address in Santiago. I’d recommend it to anyone.

My wife and I stayed one night while driving along the Chilean coast, and it was a very pleasant stop. Christopher made it especially good. He was the chef, waiter, and all-in-one service officer, and went out of his way to make everyone feel at home. A big thank you for his care and effort.

The hotel sits in the middle of the village, but the room was so small that the three of us barely fit. Breakfast and the shower were okay. The pool is tiny, no bigger than a small jacuzzi, and towels are changed every three days. Three stars all in all.

I found myself wondering who designed this house as soon as I arrived. The staff are friendly and professional, the rooms are clean and well maintained, and they’re just the right size. Breakfast was very good, and dinner was simple but absolutely delicious. The location is great, about a 10-minute walk to the municipal beach and all the essentials.
