Hôtel Les Polygones

The hotel has fantastic views and beach access, but the staff weren't helpful. We got locked inside our room because the door was faulty. In the first room, my roommate had no air conditioning. The replacement room had low water pressure and no toilet seat.

The views from the ocean-facing rooms are amazing, and the sound of waves was calming, especially with my wife. Still, the hotel's lack of upkeep is hard to ignore. The bathroom design is poor, and the toilet has neither a seat nor a lid. The shower by the pool looks as if it hasn't been maintained in about three years, and the pool itself wasn't clean enough for guests. Rooms are cleaned and sheets changed only every 48 hours. We found cockroaches crawling on our comforter. When my wife and I complained at reception, nobody even apologized, so we checked out and found another hotel. During our stay we didn't see other guests, and all the rooms on our floor were left open whenever we went out. The hotel looks beautiful on arrival, but the problems become clear in the room. Don't stay here, you might find rats moving around your room.

The rooms are fairly spacious, though the beds are small, and the place is accessible and affordable. There's no real parking, and many facilities don't work properly, from the AC to the toilets. The rooms aren't especially attractive, and the customer service isn't very good. Still, the staff are polite and professional. It's not the best place in Kribi, but it's not too bad.

There’s direct access to the beach, and the surroundings are nice. Prices are affordable, and the rooms are spacious, with an unusual polygonal shape. It was one of the area's first hotels to receive a 3-star rating. We did have trouble with the air conditioning, and the TV was very old. The hotel is well designed and was originally built. I'd recommend it.
