The breakfast was a highlight for me, and the rooms stay warm even when the weather here drops below 20 Deg.C. The room itself isn’t new, but it’s looked after well. I did find the shower head’s water flow a bit low, though it was manageable. Baicheng train station is about a 20 min walk away if the weather’s good. There are plenty of restaurants around, but I didn’t see the kind of fast food chains you get in the west. Bring cash or a Union Pay card, since my credit cards didn’t work. There are large banks nearby with ATMs, and there’s also a Jilin Bank ATM in the lobby that may work. One of the better hotels I stayed at during my trip to this city.
