The buffet was my favorite part of the stay. There was a good range, from starters and desserts to international food like pizza, and the smoked chicken breast the chef made was especially delicious. The hotel is also well placed for getting around, with malls, shops, and restaurants nearby, plus buses, taxis, and a subway station just a 2-3 minute walk away. I was there for a little over two weeks and stayed in two different rooms. Both were clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The beds felt a bit too firm for me, and getting an iron was a hassle, so having one as a standard amenity would be nice. Housekeeping was excellent and always came on time. They also honored my request for an extra comforter to make the bed softer. The staff were consistently friendly and ready to help, even with the language barrier. A few spoke some English, and the others patiently worked with me while I used a translator. When I checked in, I found out the room's electricity needed the key card, but reception kindly gave me a separate power card, which was handy. I saw and used several of the hotel's conference rooms during a seminar. They come in different sizes and were well equipped for meetings. The hotel also has at least one service robot, a nice modern touch. All in all, I had a comfortable visit with great service, a convenient location, and food I really enjoyed.

I was a little uneasy after reading reviews before arriving for the Olympics, but the hotel turned out to be quite nice. Building B has been renovated and is very comfortable. Building A is still fine and comfortable too, although its rooms could use a refresh. For a longer stay, the free self-service laundry in each building is a big plus: each has six brand-new machines with drying options. The drying takes a little longer than a real dryer, but it’s very convenient.

I stayed four nights, and things were fine until I tried to exchange USD for RMB at reception. They showed me a printed sheet with that day's rates, then said they had no cash and directed me to the machine in building #2. I felt badly shortchanged by it. I have receipts from two different days showing the same fixed rate, which was the lowest rate, so it seems the machine wasn't online and had the exchange set at that low rate. There was also a 30 RMB commission. The staff had a hard time understanding English, and in a situation like this they may not understand what you're asking at all. Be careful about exchanging money at this hotel.

It’s fine for a short business trip, but I wouldn’t choose it for a holiday. The hotel feels like three stars with five-star standards, while the price is more like a four- or five-star place.
