Beijing Wanshang Garden Hotel

The breakfast stood out, with a huge range of cuisines and the option to order what you want. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. We’ve stayed here a few times, and the warm, professional staff have always treated us with kindness and respect. A special thank you to Front Manager Steven, who made our trip and stay truly memorable. He treats you like family.

I called five times today about an urgent situation: a friend's daughter is staying at the hotel and hasn't answered her phone for two days. The woman answering just ignored me. Nobody there seems to speak or understand English, even though this is a four-star hotel in central Beijing. The receptionist at the front desk and call center around 11 pm was completely unprepared for the job. The service showed no preparation or skill, and I can't imagine a more incompetent response.

We’ve been here three times over the past nine years and plan to return on our next visit. The rooms are nice and clean, and the staff provide excellent service with a very friendly manner. There’s a shopping complex nearby, so that part is okay, but there aren’t any convenience stores close to the hotel and it gets pretty boring at night. I put the “do not disturb” sign on the door, yet housekeeping came in anyway. That felt dangerous.
