Hampton by Hilton Beijing Wangjing

The rooms were pretty good, and breakfast was continental. It's also close to a metro station with a direct line to the China International Exhibition Centre.

The rooms were very clean, and the breakfast was especially good. For the price, the hotel is great value and well located. One thing to know: Google Maps has the location wrong. The pin for Beijing Qiaomen Hotel is actually where the Hampton Hotel is. You can check the mistake against a map of Gaode, China, as shown in the attached map.

There were plenty of breakfast choices, though at busy times our group had a seat while many others were still looking for one. The room was decent, and the quiet surroundings meant little noise seemed to carry between floors or through the walls. Getting our suitcases inside was awkward because the hotel entrance and the neighboring building were under construction. I booked because Korean tours use this as a meeting point, so I was disappointed when ours was canceled for too few bookings. Still, with breakfast included, it was good value. I only noticed the lobby tables with wireless charging when we checked out.

The map pin is wrong. This is an apartment, not a hotel. The right address is Beijing Wangjing Xier Goods Friendship Store. Koreans, take note.
