We couldn't get a room change even with drilling going on constantly. Construction started at 7am and went on late, and the beds were uncomfortable. They also threw away medication I had left beside the bed. It's modestly priced, but other places may be more helpful, especially for foreigners. Honestly, one of the worst places I've stayed.

The location is a real plus, and the shower gets hot with good pressure. Some people at the front desk speak English. The bed is large but uncomfortable, which seems common in China. I've stayed in a few Beijing hotels, and this is probably in my top two.

The rooms are small, but the price is fair and the staff are wonderful. It's reasonably clean, too.
