We stayed for six nights in summer 2025 and had complimentary buffet breakfasts. The rooms were clean, the amenities were good, and getting to the hotel from the west second ring road was easy. It’s outside the usual tourist areas, but travelers interested in a more authentic modern Chinese hotel might want to consider it. There’s a swimming pool, though swimming costs close to 100 rmb per person.

There was vomit in the elevator and the bellhop just stared at me. The staff felt weird, the room reeked of cigarettes, and the old furnishings were awful. The door looked like it had been kicked in several times, and the deadbolt and chain were gone. The bed was hard as a rock. I wouldn’t put my dog in there, poor thing might not make it. I can take a bit more, but I lasted one night and left.
