Qihu Hotel

The club sandwich is well worth recommending, unlike the bar's cocktails, which were really bad. I doubt the staff are trained to make them, and they certainly don't taste them. Breakfast was nice, though it's a mystery why they never put out strawberry jam, which you can ask for. It's a nice, relatively new hotel by YanQiHu lake; most rooms have a pleasant balcony, and many have at least some view of the lake.

We celebrated my father-in-law's birthday here and had a wonderful time. The service was excellent throughout, and both the restaurant and lounge are worth recommending. The large rooms feel state-of-the-art, with everything adjustable to your liking. It's a fairly new, modern hotel that still feels elegant, and the breakfast buffet offers just about everything, freshly prepared. We'd highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

The lake view from the lounge was lovely, and the pastries and coffee there were excellent. Lunch was also very good, served with beautiful tableware and surrounded by magnificent decor and furniture. Service was impeccable, as always. I only stopped in for lunch during a walk around the lake, so I can’t say anything about the rooms.
