Hyatt Regency Changchun

The lobby bar was a highlight, with live performances, and I really liked lunch at the Chinese restaurant on the 7th floor. There were lots of breakfast choices, though it got a little crowded during the morning rush. The business lounge also offered free food and drinks during happy hours. The facilities were spotless, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The gym is on the small side and open from 5am to 11pm. I didn’t use the pool. Probably the best hotel in changchun city, and a very pleasant stay.

The rooms felt up to date, with marble-finished bathrooms, and housekeeping kept everything clean. There’s 24hr room service with a decent-sized menu. We also had an amazing lounge experience with top-notch service, plus a restaurant on the 7th floor and buffet dining on the 5th.

The cocktail prices seemed fine, but wine and liquor in the lounge felt overpriced. Even so, I highly recommend staying here. It’s hard to find a better option, and it’s great to finally have a modern 5 stars hotel in the city. Hyatt has made a big step forward for people in Changchun. I think it may also be part of a Chinese central government effort to stimulate the economy in Northeast region of China.

The lunch buffet was amazing, and the rooms are clean, modern, and beautiful, with great views. The bathroom is spacious and comfortable, too. Can’t say enough good things about this place :)
