Getting around was easy from this strategic spot, with an MRT station across the road and lots of supermarkets within walking distance. Yuelu Mountain, Hunan Normal University, Yuelu Academy, and Orange Island were walkable too. During my two-week stay, the room was cleaned every day and drinking water was topped up. The staff were very helpful, and the hotel accepted deliveries from online purchases. Breakfast was the downside for variety, since the menu was the same every day. Still, the best!

Breakfast was free and there was plenty of it. The dining area was busy, and I got to chat with a few foreign guests. Staff were there to greet people warmly. The location was handy too, close to the train station, with an ATM downstairs.
