The location was a highlight, with food and shopping right next door, and the people working there were very friendly and helpful. The rooms could feel a bit stuffy, and the air conditioning wasn't strong at all. That's been the case everywhere I've stayed in China, though.

The hotel is clean and laid out well, with a good breakfast and plenty of variety. It's not near much, but taxis are easy to get for going places. There's also a small gym with enough equipment for a good workout.

We had a very good, welcoming experience in Changsha. The night manager was especially friendly and a huge help to us.

I'd avoid this property. I'm a Hilton Diamond Member, and even though it was off-peak season, I got no room upgrade and was assigned a tiny room. They also charged me 20 yuan to change from a king bed to two beds.

The breakfast was clean, varied, and good. The hotel is about 25 minutes from Changsha Airport, though a bit far from downtown.
