What stood out most during our two-week trip was the breakfast buffet. There was lots of choice, the food tasted good, and the roomy layout between seats and tables made meals comfortable. Staff also cleared plates promptly and cleaned the tables, unlike at other restaurants where dishes piled up until each use was over. They handled the dishes quietly too, which showed good management and training. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the amenities seemed thoughtfully planned around guests' needs. I chose the hotel for its considerate facilities and quality service, rather than for luxury or grandeur. It's a shame it operates only locally and isn't part of a chain, because it would be a top pick for me on future trips to other cities.
