The rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff were lovely. Breakfast was average, but the hotel is good value. Just be aware that despite the name, it isn't actually at Kuanzhai Alley, it's about a 10-minute drive away. We arrived late and found the driveway closed, which meant a long walk from the drop-off. Check the map before you go.

Riley and her manager Tina made my stay in Chengdu very comfortable. Thanks to both of them, and kudos for sorting out the room allocation promptly.

It's a new hotel with new facilities, close to the metro. A nice place to relax after a long day out.

I can't get this hotel to respond at all.

6/10
Both rooms had insects in the beds, and when we checked in there was still rubbish in the room and no fresh toilet paper. Room service and check-in themselves were fine. The problem was the front desk staff member who kept insisting the room had been cleaned and prepared, with an irritating expression, but offered no fix and wouldn't call housekeeping. I had to ask her to get housekeeping to clean the beds properly and refill the paper. It felt like I was doing her job. I've never complained about a hotel before, but this five-star hotel doesn't deserve that rating.
