It's close to the old town, and the rooms are bright and clean. The staff are polite and friendly. The hotel's Chinese name is Wucaiyun Hotel, and I'd recommend it to everyone.

Finding such a beautiful hotel in Dali was a lovely surprise. The room was roomy and comfortable, and the hotel is decorated with care. Breakfast was very good, though a few more Western-style choices would have been welcome. I recommend it 100%. Dali is an interesting town, especially for what's around it: the lake, minority villages, markets, and culture.
