For a deluxe suite in winter, 668 yuan seemed reasonable to me. The room rates vary with room size, and the suite was clean, well equipped, quiet, and had good insulation. The bathroom was spacious, there was hot water around the clock, and the TV had plenty of channels. The lobby wasn't fancy, but it was pleasant, and the reception staff were friendly and easy to talk to. The hotel is just north of Xinghai Square, with the square outside and the beach nearby. Getting around is easy, and there are lots of hotels and restaurants in the area at reasonable prices. Parking is limited, though security is strict, so the car felt safe. The room key works with a keypad: wait for the green light, then turn the handle and push the door. I booked through Ctrip, so breakfast was for one person per room. At 129 yuan per person, it was only average and didn't feel up to the price. The hotel is well equipped, close to a five-star standard.
