The front desk and restaurant staff were both really friendly, and my room was clean. I’d recommend this hotel when staying in Dalian.

My room was very good, probably on the 18th floor. I stayed in 2009, by which time the hotel had already been renovated and had superior features. A very good hotel.

I picked this hotel for a change of scenery and because it was cheaper than the Aloft Dalian, which I’d stayed at before. I think my stay cost around 3,000 yen, while in Japan this place would be about 10,000 yen. The Aloft Dalian was around 5,000 yen, or roughly 20,000 yen in Japan. I arrived late at night and they still accommodated me. This was about two years ago, so I don’t remember the details well, but I think they took a deposit and returned it if there were no issues.
