I won’t be coming back, and I’ll send this feedback to IHG corporate because this stay showed me how a hotel shouldn’t be run. Breakfast had the same four choices every day, a ridiculous lack of variety for a hotel of this level. Take a lesson from the Hilton next door. Their standard is much better. Option #4 was one lonely slice of meat and cheese on bread with the crust expertly removed. Try not to laugh. Yes, that counts as breakfast, and there was nothing a normal kid would want to eat. Housekeeping only left two towels in the room, so with my loyalty status I had to beg for basic linens. Laundry cost about $10 per coin for self-service, which felt like daylight robbery, a blatant cash grab rather than hospitality. The service is failing badly in several areas.

One thing that made evenings less comfortable was walking around the property at night, since the route goes through a wholesale vegetable market area. Otherwise, the location was excellent, with many well-known streets and attractions within walking distance, and the rooms were clean and well kept. Breakfast had four choices each day. We only eat eggs, chicken, and fish, so just one option worked for us. It was filling, balanced, and high in protein, but having the same thing for three days in a row got repetitive.

The hotel was very clean and had all the basic amenities I needed. The manager even gave me a souvenir tote when I checked out, which was adorable. Shopping is easy from here and the MTR stations aren’t too far away. Staff were always around and ready to help. Breakfast was limited to four choices, but filling enough. I’d suggest the Hong Kong Favorite or Chinese Exquisite. There’s also a toast bar and a selection of hot and cold drinks. Thanks for making my Hong Kong trip comfortable and memorable. I’ll book here again.

This is a practical spot for a short trip, with clean, comfortable rooms and easy access to local restaurants and shopping. The standard room feels like fair value for the city, especially if you want convenience without paying premium prices. A few things to know: the nearest MTR station is about a 400-meter walk, bottled water isn’t complimentary, and there can be a slight smell around the bathtub. Simple and functional overall.
