The location is handy, near the main road and city center, and it’s one of the better five-star hotels around here. Breakfast comes with the price, though there isn’t much choice. The rooms are okay, but they don’t feel particularly five-star. There’s also an annoying door alarm that goes off if you leave the room door open too long.

I’ve stayed here 13 times over about four months in the past year. The prices are really good compared with the States, and the staff are very friendly. It’s a good place overall, though it feels more like a three-star hotel trying to be five-star. For good food, ask for Sammy in Western Restaurant. For after-hours fun, ask for Cobi at the front desk, if you know what I mean.

The staff were nice, but the place is so run down that it doesn’t make up for the rest. The rooms are dirty, and I’m pretty sure the “mattress” is just a box spring with a thin pad on top. It’s rock hard, hurts my back, and sits very low to the ground. The carpet is dirty enough that I had to wear shoes in the room. Even the non-smoking rooms have ashtrays. Gross, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
