The rooms are comfortable, though the rooms and facilities could use some refurbishment to bring them up to date.

There's plenty here for kids to do, and the hotel and staff were great. The shuttle is the weak point: it only runs once an hour, and the minibus isn't big enough during busy holiday periods.

Raymond Tan at Tao Yuan Chinese Restaurant gave us impeccable, personable service. It was a real pleasure spending time with him. Melody Ye also provided exceptional help arranging our accommodation and golf games, including last-minute changes when our flight plans shifted.

We finished the 18 holes in four and a half hours, and although our score wasn't great, we were happy with the round. The Greg Norman course was tough for our handicap, with challenging contours and bunkers that made us think about our strategy. We were there with a business colleague, and the facilities and service were superb. Our caddy gave smart directions despite the language barrier and kept doing their best. Best course ever in Shenzen, must try.

On my first business trip to China, I was pointed to this place because it was close to the activities I needed. It's a beautiful facility, with helpful staff and great amenities. I also got a room upgrade, which was a very welcome bonus. I'd be glad to stay at this gem on future trips to the area.
