Guangzhou Zhongbang International Hotel

There wasn't even a mini-fridge, the broken TV was left as it was, and garbage bags by the door weren't collected. They also provided no alcohol for disinfection. My friend was assigned to stay here for 14 days of quarantine, and we had to pay ¥80 a day for meals that cost ¥10 each and were mostly pickled vegetables. The tomato and egg dish had no egg, and the soup was just boiled pickled vegetables. When I called to complain, the front desk staff put the phone aside and told me to hang up. Someone later said the front desk wasn't the cafeteria. The manager eventually told me staff meals had been given to guests by mistake. It seems the meals were switched deliberately. The hotel was horrible from the rooms and equipment to the service. One star is too generous, but there was no zero-star option. You have been warned. Stay here and you'll regret it.
