Royal Stars Apartment Shamian Branch

The three-bedroom duplex was roomy, had a great river view, and was reasonably priced. It’s only a few minutes’ walk to the MTR, and the neighborhood was quiet and relaxed. Check-in was easy. There were six of us, but only four towels, and no spare toilet paper. The used roll still hadn’t been replaced on day two, so thankfully we’d brought our own. Some construction work also seemed unfinished, with electrical wires hanging from the walls and ceiling. On the last day of our three-day, two-night stay, the toilet clogged. Fortunately, that was our final day. Our keys also stopped working on the second night, as if they’d only been set up for one night. The apartment didn’t seem fully ready to operate, so I’m unsure whether I’d stay again.
