The bathroom could have been cleaner, and some of the facilities felt a little lacking. The staff were very nice and tried to help, even when there was a language barrier. West Street, where the action is, is very close, and the park is also within reasonable distance.

The price was the only real positive for us. I wouldn't stay here again. Cleanliness was practically nonexistent: the bathrooms looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages, and even after we called several times, they weren't wiped down until the following day. There was no bathroom sink or handwashing sink, and we had to bring our own toilet paper. We booked a shared room and had to haul our bags up five flights of stairs. Staff didn't speak English, and one person tried to charge us too much twice when we ordered a taxi through the hostel.

The innkeeper made everyone feel like family, and the place is right beside West Street. It'd be a shame to miss it.
