The place is quiet and has strong air conditioning, pretty good Wi-Fi, and a decent breakfast. There were also some free things in the fridge. The location is great, but the furnishings are old, the mattress is too hard, and the cleanliness was so-so. I’d give it three stars at most, and wouldn’t recommend staying longer than two nights.

We spent a couple of nights here while on a tour in Yangshuo. The accommodation was perfectly adequate, the people were very friendly, and it was close to the shopping district. We loved it.

Being right in the city center was a real plus, and I loved the hotel's retro interior. The age of the place showed in the frequent power cuts, though. Each time the electricity went out, the heater stopped too, so it got cold. I had to take the guide's word that most places to stay nearby were much the same.
