We stayed in a spacious, comfortable Grand Suite with a lovely birthday setup. The staff were friendly, attentive, and very helpful, and Yuexuan restaurant was very good, though I prefer the one at Park Hyatt Shanghai. The hotel is conveniently close to the train station and not far from the airport. There’s no view of Xihu, but the room, service, and location still make it a decent choice in Hangzhou. For a view of Xihu, I’d suggest the Grand Hyatt.

On the 37th floor, THE DINING ROOM serves Chinese food packed with flavor. The Green Crab and Lobster were the standout dishes for me, see the photos. We had them with Chinese white wine, and I’d definitely come back.

The city views from the roof top bar are amazing, and there’s a great cocktail selection with live music from a band. Table service could be quicker, but I had a great time there.

I went for a business dinner and was seriously impressed. The city views were fantastic, the food was sublime, and the service was brilliant. Absolutely stunning, and I’d highly recommend it.
