The most unforgettable part of my trip home was staying at this B&B. I was born in Chun'an, Taiwan, and came back before Qingming Festival this year to visit my deceased relatives' graves. My relatives booked the place for me. It was clean and comfortable, tucked behind a century-old camphor tree, with a special, almost fairy-tale feel. That evening, I sat with the young owner over tea, pastries I’d brought from Taiwan, and their homemade mulberry wine. We chatted until we got drunk, carried away by the beautiful scenery. Rain greeted me the next morning. The young owner and his wife made a hearty breakfast and warmly told me about picturesque Qinchuan. They said, “The most beautiful painting is the people.” Their sincere hospitality has stayed with me. And their little daughter is just adorable. I hope you and your family have peace and happiness. I’ll definitely visit again next time I’m back.
