I enjoyed the atmosphere at the SEE ME bar, especially the live music. For getting around, Huanglong Cave MTR is close by, and West Lake is nearby too. I loved walking there and taking in the city's lovely atmosphere.

The room was clean, with a very comfortable bed, a luxurious bathroom, music in the shower, good WiFi, and other upscale touches. There are several restaurants, and the food was the best in town. Breakfast covered continental and European options. As a business hotel, it's set up in a very comfortable way. I had trouble communicating with the staff in English. They're friendly, but sometimes they said yes without understanding what I'd asked. They seem to be aiming for a high level of service, though there's still a long way to go. All in all, a good place to stay. Dragon management should work on the team's English and hospitality skills.

For a five-star hotel, the prices are more competitive than those of its American counterparts. It has several buildings, attractive park areas, multiple restaurants, and a nice gym and pool. My only issue was the noise in rooms facing the main road, where the window insulation wasn't up to standard. Otherwise, it's quite recommendable.
