I booked this place for my honeymoon with my Chinese wife, but it was so filthy that I refused to stay. I’ve been to China many times and know what to expect from the toilets and other things, but this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Do NOT stay here. It’s the most horrible hotel I’ve seen.

Housekeeping hadn’t cleaned the room properly when we arrived: the toilet seat was filthy, and the sink was clogged with dirty water. Several rooms had no hot water during winter, and housekeeping couldn’t fix it, just told us to let it run for a while. At -20°C in Harbin, not being able to shower with hot water was a huge problem. The Wi-Fi didn’t work because the whole building uses the same network. The room layout was strange too, with the bed facing a mirror.

The room was reasonably clean, and I didn’t find anything disgusting. The service was excellent too. When I left, the lobby manager helped call me a taxi. He was very humble, nothing like the picture painted by the negative comments.
